Other FAYF TSI Projects

Digital Skills Training

At FAYF, we believe digital literacy is the new currency of empowerment. Our Digital Skills Training project equips African youth—especially those from underserved communities—with in-demand tech skills that boost employability and innovation as well as the material resources needed to be established.

Girls In Tech Project

The Girls in Tech Project is FAYF’s bold step to close the digital gender gap by training and mentoring young girls in digital and STEM-related fields. Through hands-on learning, inspirational sessions, and exposure to female role models in the industry, we’re helping girls develop the confidence, competence, and community they need to thrive in the digital economy.

Tech Competition In School

FAYF’s Tech Competition in Schools is an exciting initiative that challenges secondary school students to solve real-world problems using technology. Through friendly challenges, tech quizzes, and invention pitches, students showcase their creativity, teamwork, and digital prowess.

Tech For Sustainable Development

The Tech for Sustainable Impact (TSI) initiative leverages digital innovation to solve social, environmental, and economic challenges across communities. From digital farming tools to youth-led tech startups and smart solutions for education or health, we empower changemakers to use technology for good.

Leverage The Tech Industry

As the world embraces digital transformation, the gender gap in technology persists—especially across Africa. Many young women lack the information, access, and mentorship needed to explore careers in tech. Without structured guidance or exposure, tech often feels “too advanced” or “not for them.” To bridge this gap, Freshwaters African Youth Foundation (FAYF) is launching the Tech for Social Impact initiative: a virtual, interactive career awareness and mentorship experience aligned with International Girls in ICT Day. The aim is to help girls move from curiosity to confidence and see themselves as future leaders in tech.
