The SIPGA gives international students the chance to work with world-renowned researchers at A*STAR’s Research Entities. If you are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computing and Information Science, Biomedical Science, Physical Science, or Engineering-related disciplines, you can apply for research attachments lasting from two to six months. This attachment is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in your field while contributing to cutting-edge research.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply for SIPGA 2025, ensure you meet the following criteria:

  • Open to international 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate students and master’s students from overseas universities in STEM courses.
  • Must have obtained or be on track to obtain at least a Second-Class (Upper) Honours or equivalent for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Applicants must remain matriculated in their home university during the attachment period.
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
  • A strong interest in a research career is essential.
