
The Fully Funded Rotary Peace Fellowship 2026-2027
The Rotary Peace Fellowship is a fully funded international fellowship program designed for passionate peace advocates and emerging leaders. Open to students worldwide, this prestigious opportunity awards up to 130 fellowships to individuals with extraordinary leadership and problem-solving abilities. The program aims to train future peace leaders who will work for positive change on a global scale.

Program Overview
The Rotary Peace Fellowship offers two distinct programs:
- Master’s Degree Program:
- Duration: 15 months to 2 years
- Up to 50 fellowships available
- Offered at renowned institutions such as International Christian University (Tokyo, Japan), The University of Queensland (Brisbane, Australia), University of Bradford (England), Duke University & University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA), and Uppsala University (Sweden).
- Professional Development Certificate Program:
- Duration: One year
- Up to 80 fellowships available
- Offered at Rotary Peace Centers such as Makerere University (Kampala, Uganda) and Bahçeşehir University (Istanbul, Turkey).
Both programs are fully funded and cover tuition fees, travel expenses, room and board, and additional allowances for conference/research, field studies, and internships.

Eligibility Criteria
General Requirements
- Language: Proficiency in English is essential.
- Commitment to Peace: Applicants must demonstrate a strong record of academic, professional, and community service with a commitment to advancing peace.
- Leadership Skills: Evidence of exceptional leadership in academic, professional, or community settings is required.
- Exclusions:
- Candidates currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs are not eligible.
- Active Rotary members, employees of Rotary entities, or those who have recently attended a certificate program or global grant scholarship are ineligible.
Specific Requirements
- For Master’s Degree Program Applicants:
- Must have completed a bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of three years of relevant professional or academic experience is required.
- For Professional Development Certificate Program Applicants:
- Must have at least five years of relevant experience.
- Applicants must be able to clearly articulate their plan of action for peacebuilding.

- Updated resume or curriculum vitae.
- Professional and academic recommendation letters.
- Academic transcripts and certificates.
